An aluminum electrolytic capacitor is an electronic component that stores and releases electrical charge. These capacitors are made using two films of aluminum foil with a very thin insulating oxide layer (dielectric) applied to the anode foil. Liquid electrolyte covers the oxide layer, serving as the cathode foil in principal. With such thin dielectric, these capacitors have a higher capacitance per unit volume. Capacitors are important components that can be found in most electronic devices.
Nichicon Malaysia produces three main types of aluminum electrolytic capacitors which are miniature type, chip type, and large can type.
MINIATURE TYPE (E-CAP)
Nichicon Malaysia started the production of E-Cap in 1991. We produce E-Cap in sizes ranging 8~18mm in diameter with 11.5~40mm in length.
